The World Resources Institute and HSBC's Climate Change Centre of Excellence recently released "Over Heating: Financial Risks from Water Constraints on Power Generation", a report analyzing water-related risks facing thermal and hydroelectric power plants in India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. These plants require large amounts of water for cooling and generation. More than half of existing and planned power plants in South and Southeast Asia are located in areas currently considered water scarce or stressed, according to the report. 4.10

There are many ways to build a successful practice. While hard work is a necessity, there are varied paths to success. Jim Frazin left the credit union world, embraced the Garrett Network model and built from an hourly planning platform. Justin Harris decided to focus on SRI and used First Affirmative for asset management for almost all client accounts. Georgette Frazer was looking for a way to retire, and made the decision to go fee-only and to work on an adviser training service as well.
