The new KLD Global Sustainability Index (GSI) is designed to represent the global equity market for sustainable investors. The Index holds a broad, diversified sub-set of the largest global companies, selected based on environmental, social and governance factors and sector rankings by region (North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific). Developing the GSI meant establishing partnerships with leading global sustainable investment research firms in order to collaborate on a common understanding of what it means to be a sustainable company in the global marketplace.
