This session will be a discussion of how to support clients in expanding their current paradigms of prosperity. These ideas were captured in Mackey's award winning book: The Intersection of Joy and Money, named Most Life-Changing Book and Outstanding Book of the Year by Independent Publishers. Rev. Dorothy Emerson has done extensive research on promoting financial literacy for women and how we teach kids about money. Mackey and Dorothy have collaborated to develop a six-session adult education program on these subjects.
Speaker Biographies
The Rev. Dr. Dorothy May Emerson is a Unitarian Universalist community minister with Rainbow Solutions, in Medford, Massachusetts, where she provides education on socially responsible investing and on the spiritual aspects of money and serves as a consultant to justice-making organizations, such as Promise the Children and Interfaith Worker Justice. She has written feature articles for UU World, on micro-credit and community investing and had a column on money in Natural Awakenings. She has attended SRI in the Rockies for the past 10 years with her spouse, Donna E. Clifford.
Mackey McNeill, CPA, PFS, IAR is the President/CEO of Mackey Advisors? Business Advisors and Prosperity Planners, a firm she founded in 1983 which has
been recognized as one of the largest women-owned businesses in
greater Cincinnati. Mackey's passion is to support her clients in expanding their current paradigms of prosperity. These ideas are captured in her award winning book: The Intersection of Joy and Money, named Most Life-Changing Book and Outstanding Book of the Year by Independent Publishers. In her book, Mackey uses her experience and knowledge to lead the reader through a journey of self-discovery and self-actualization, a revolutionary way to create prosperity. Mackey is a CPA, Personal Financial Specialist, Investment Advisor Representative and a certified Enneagram teacher. A native Georgian, Mackey graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia.
